The Institute of Polish Culture supports the idea of an open and free access to culture, including academic publications. We cooperate with organizations actively working on the popularization of the idea of open access (such as Centrum Cyfrowe Projekt: Polska, Coalition for Open Education) and are engaged in the creation of open access journals (e.g. “View. Theories and Practices of Visual Culture”), as well as in making accessible academic work produced in the Institute. Many books and articles written by our faculty, as well as M.A. and Ph.D. theses of our students are published online in the Repository “Center for Open Science.”
