JÓZEFA JOTEYKO is a person barely known today. She was a renowned Polish doctor, psychologist and physiologist, one of the creators of the special education. She was the first woman – and second Pole after Mickiewicz – to teach in Collège de France. Her most important book is entitled Weariness: fatigue and its physiology was her main research areas.

Dr Agata Chałupnik from the Institute of Polish Culture will tell you more about fatigue, Józefa Joteyko, women in science and choices they had to make 100 years ago.
