Maja Dobiasz – Ph.D. student at the Institute of Polish Culture, University of Warsaw. She holds an M.A. in cultural studies, her thesis was devoted to the anthropology of social movements. She currently works as a university lecturer at cultural animation workshops, at the College of English Language Teacher Education, University of Warsaw. She has also worked as an assistant coordinator in a ethnographic laboratory at the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology. Participant of two research grants: „Liegnitz. The memory of divided city”(National Science Centre NCN), and „Prologue”, „Etnography, Animation, Art” (National Culture Centre). Her publications include the book Antropozoficzna Cywilizacja. Uzdrowienia. Mit utopia, rzeczywistość, [Anthroposophic Civilization of Healing. Myth, Utopia, Reality] (2014) and essays in edited volumes devoted to cultural animation and the history of People’s Republic of Poland.
