Marek Golonka (1992) – culture researcher and psychology student, graduate of the Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in Humanities at the University of Silesia (bachelor) and University of Warsaw (master degree).
His main research areas are musical theatre, memory studies, representations of the past in theatre and popular culture and the history of Central Europe. These topics are pursued by him in his Diamond Grant research project (Re)presenting the past in musical theatre of Poland and Austria and its reception. As a psychologist Marek researches the axiological and personality-related consequences of studying and is interested in work psychology and positive psychology.
During his studies Marek was strongly engaged with the Age of Enlightment student research group at the University of Silesia, preparing his first conference speeches there and working at a student staging of Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski’s Panna na wydaniu as an actor and director’s assistant.
