Karolina Wróbel – a graduate of Polish Philology and Cultural Studies at the University of Warsaw. She is a Ph.D. student at the Section for Cultural History of the Institute of Polish Culture and a member of the Holocaust Remembrance Research Team.
Her areas of interests include the relations between people and animals in culture, studies on the Holocaust and the history of the Warsaw Ghetto. She is working on her doctoral dissertation on the role and condition of animals during World War II. Currently, she is working on a book devoted to the presence of animals in the Warsaw Ghetto.
Apart from her academic work, she deals with cultural education and cooperates with Witold Dynowski Association “Pracownia Etnograficzna”.
