Graduate of spatial management, geography and cultural studies within Interdisciplinary Individual Studies in the Humanities (University of Warsaw). A student of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School, affiliated with the Section for Theatre and Performance (of the Institute of Polish Culture) and the Chair of Urban Geography and Spatial Planning (at the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies). His PhD research (supervised by Professors Wojciech Dudzik and Mikołaj Madurowicz) concerns the status of theatrical places in the space of selected Polish and European human settlements.
He published in such journals as Przegląd Humanistyczny [Humanistic Review], Kultura Współczesna [Contemporary Culture], Konteksty [Contexts], Białostockie Studia Literaturoznawcze [Bialystok Literary Studies], Teatr [Theatre]. He is also an author of chapters in edited volumes: Technologiczno-społeczne oblicza XXI wieku [Technological and social faces of 21st century], Refleksje (około)teatralne [Reflections around theatre], Eurypides Innowator [Euripides: Innovator]. In 2020, his master’s thesis on Włodzimierz Staniewski’s ecology of the theatre in comparison to other artistic concepts and practices was awarded by Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute.
He worked at Studium Teatralne in Warsaw and the Gardzienice Centre for Theatre Practices. Besides, he is interested in local history and activity in the Warsaw district of Bemowo.
