Rita Müller – author of texts, artworks, and socially engaged projects. Graduated in Cultural Studies at the Institute of Polish Culture. Awarded in the competition for the best master’s thesis in the academic year 2020/2021 in the field of theatre sciences, performance and spectacle, organised by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute, for her thesis “Le Madame’s Generation”. Non-normative communities and queer art in the early 2000s.
PhD student at the Doctoral School of Humanities at the University of Warsaw, where she is preparing a doctoral thesis on the recent Polish queer herstory (focus on the 1990s), under the supervision of dr hab. Justyna Jaworska and PhD Dorota Sosnowska.
She has published in magazines such as “View: Theories and Practices of Visual Culture”, “InterAlia: a journal of queer studies”, “Dialog: a journal of contemporary drama”, and “Dwutygodnik”. Member of the 4EU+ alliance projects: Queer Pedagogies Here and Now and Queer Studies Student Collective.
