A cultural researcher and historian specializing in theater studies. His research interests include the cultural history of theater, contemporary performative practices, institutional critique within the theatrical domain, and strategies for writing about performative artistic practices. He has authored two monographs: Ustanawianie świętości. Kulturowa historia angielskich widowisk religijnych (Performing the Sacred: The Cultural History of English Religious Spectacles in the 16th Century, 2015) and Oświecenie. Przedstawienia (Enlightenment: Performances, 2017). He is currently preparing a scholarly volume examining audience engagement strategies employed by the Theater of the Mazovia Region between 1956 and 1968. His scholarly contributions extend beyond monographs, with his articles appearing in esteemed academic journals such as Dialog, Didaskalia, Pamiętnik Teatralny, Czas Kultury, and Widok. He also conducts lectures on the history of Polish culture up to the late 18th century and seminars focusing on contemporary theater and performances, with an emphasis on their institutional dynamics and the construction of narratives surrounding Polish theatrical traditions.
