PhD candidate at the University of Warsaw’s Doctoral School for the Humanities. Graduated in Cultural Studies at the University of Warsaw’s Institute of Polish Culture and previously the “Artes Liberales” Faculty. Recipient of the Gajka Kuroniowa award in the 30th edition of the J.J. Lipski contest for the best master’s thesis in the humanities and social sciences. In 2023-2024 he worked as a researcher in the IDUB ministerial grant project “Representations of Popular Classes in Contemporary Polish Visual Culture”, led by prof. Magda Szcześniak. He has published in the journal “View. Theories and Practices of Visual Culture”, among others.
His interests include theories of genre and affect, their connection to new and old media practices and representations of labor and class. Under the supervision of prof. Magda Szcześniak, he is working on a dissertation concerning Internet-based video-essayistic forms.
