Marta Aksztin – PhD student at the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School of the University of Warsaw, and at the NOVA Institute of Communication (ICNOVA) of the Nova University of Lisbon. Co-founder of Colapso Plataforma Criativa, an intercultural artistic research space based in Lisbon. She works on interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of performing arts and art installation. Her thesis on the memory of Estado Novo in contemporary Portuguese culture was awarded the second prize in the contest for the best master’s thesis in the field of theatre and performance, organised by the Theatre Institute in Warsaw (2025). Her research interests focus on topics such as memory studies, postcolonial studies, and contemporary performing arts.
