Ada Minge, Ph.D. student – Graduate of Film and New Media Studies at the Jagiellonian University, studied also at the University of Montreal and at the Sorbonne University. Her masters thesis was devoted to the cinematic figurations of feminine nomadic subjects in light of Rosi Braidotti’s theory. Her academic interests revolve around the themes of coming of age, multiculturalism, globalism and migration in contemporary cinema. Currently her research is focused on feminine coming of age narratives and their cultural conditioning in Polish literature and film post-1989. She was granted a special mention in the Krzysztof Mętrak competition for young film critics.
